Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using Journey with Nawal services. By using our website or booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. These terms are governed by the commercial law and e-commerce regulations applicable in the Sultanate of Oman.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, using any of our services, or making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
Journey with Nawal provides wellness and healing services including: wellness retreats; sound healing sessions (group and private); cacao ceremonies (group and private); workshops and training courses; and corporate services. All services are subject to availability and capacity. We reserve the right to modify, cancel, or reschedule services when necessary with as much prior notice as possible.
3. Bookings & Payment
All bookings are provisional until payment is complete and confirmed by us. Payments are processed via a secure, approved payment gateway. Prices are displayed in Omani Rials (OMR) or the currency specified per service and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time; changes do not affect previously confirmed bookings.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
All cancellations are subject to the detailed Refund & Cancellation Policy available on our website. Refund eligibility is calculated based on the specific service category and the time remaining before the scheduled date. To submit a cancellation, please sign in to your account and use the Cancel Enrollment option, or contact us directly.
5. Customer Obligations
By registering for any of our services, you agree to: provide accurate and truthful information when booking; disclose any health conditions that may affect your participation; maintain respectful conduct and venue etiquette during all sessions; arrive on time; and not photograph or record other participants without their explicit consent.
6. Health & Safety
Our services are offered as wellness experiences and are not a substitute for professional medical care. If you have any health or medical conditions, please consult your doctor before participating. We reserve the right to refuse service to any person whose behaviour poses a risk to their own or others' safety.
7. Intellectual Property
All content published on our website — including text, images, designs, and course materials — is the property of Journey with Nawal and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. It may not be copied, redistributed, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Journey with Nawal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services, including injuries resulting from non-compliance with facilitator instructions or wilful concealment of relevant health information. These limitations do not restrict any non-waivable statutory rights under Omani consumer protection law.
9. Photography & Recording
We may capture photographs or video during our events for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such materials, please inform us before the event begins. No content clearly identifying you will be used without your explicit consent.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. In the event of any dispute, both parties are encouraged to seek amicable resolution first. If amicable resolution is not possible, the dispute shall be referred to the competent courts in the Sultanate of Oman.
11. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated review date. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
